Bellariffic Friday - "Stitch It Up"

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was "Stitch it up" and it's also the first Friday of the month so that means a new stamp on sale at 20% off!  This month it's Uptown Girl Rebecca Loves to Read. 

 

For my card I decided to give the look of sewing but with no thread....so essentially paper piercing :)

 

  

I stamped Rebecca onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  This card is for my co-worker Christal who is relaxing at home today, hopefully curled up in bed with a good book like Rebecca!  I fussy cut the image and popped it up on some Echo Park Summer Bliss paper that I cut out using the Pierced Circle Stax die.  In keeping with the reading theme I stamped the background with Romantic Script.  The pillow edges sparkle from my Wink of Stella pen.
