Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge #10

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was this beautiful fall photo.

For my card I used the sweet Tiny Townie Fay Loves Fall.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I used the coordinating die to cut her out and then fussy cut some of the extra leaves off.  The sentiment is from Uptown Girl Serena Has A Sign.

Enjoy the weekend.

Bellariffic Friday - Kitty Loves Halloween

It's Bellariffic Friday and amidst all the excitement with the teasers going on I'm here with my card and a reminder that's it's the first Friday of the month so that means 20% off the image of the month and this month we feature Uptown Girl Kitty Loves Halloween.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I added lots of sparkle with the glitter paper and wink of stella pen.  I stamped the sentiment that comes with the image on the inside and mimicked the scallop square from the front.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 34.

Brittany the Birthday Girl

I hope you're having a good week.  This was a special order birthday card for a young lady who loves the colours I've used on her card....fuchsia, black and Tiffany blue, and really, who doesn't love Tiffany :)

I stamped the image, Brittany the Birthday Girl, with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I kept the layout simple, just adding a black bow with a rhinestone in the middle and of course, there is wink of stella on the dress, the fuchsia bow and the lace trim.

Happy Birthday Tori - Card 2

Here's the second card I made for Tori - big enough (5.5 x 5.5) for all the staff to sign it!

I stamped UPTOWN GIRL BENTLEY GETS BLOWN AWAY with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.

I added some Wink of Stella to the pink balloon and her dress.  I also added a few sequins/beads for some extra sparkle.

Bellariffic Friday - Free Form

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week it was a Free Form challenge so anything goes!  It's also the first Friday of the month so that means another stamp on sale at 20% off for the whole month!  This month we are featuring one of the Uptown Girls, Reilly needs to Relax.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I added some glossy accents to her wine glass and the "empty" wine bottle - LOL.  On the inside I stamped the sentiment that comes with Reilly.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 28.

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was Free Form so anything goes.  It's also the first Friday of the month and that means another image on sale at 20% off for the whole month.  All the Babes will be showcasing the image today and it's Uptown Girls Belinda and Bernadette Bench Buddies.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is MME "Notable" and I used a new "hello" die I got from Danabella - love it!!  I actually cut out 4 and stacked them on top of each other for some height.  I sponged some clouds in the background.

On the inside I used the sentiment that comes with the image.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 27.

Post Valentine's day - part 2

As promised here are the other Valentine's Day cards I made.  Can I just say how much I love this image, Uptown Galentine Girls!  It is perfect for Valentine's Day but also could be used for any girlfriend occasion.  I made two different cards.  This first one is for my friend Christal.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I added some glossy accents to their cool sunglasses and I love the sparkle I got on that "little black dress" with my Spectrum Noir pen!

I kept this layout pretty simple but for my second card I added a doily and some ribbon...and of course sparkle on their clothes!

On the inside I made it the same as my BFF's card using the sentiment that comes with this image.

I hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

Happy Valentine's Day

Love is in the air - Happy Valentine's Day!

I stamped Uptown Girl Lucille Sends her Love with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  The sentiment is from the new release - the Only Gretchen image.  The paper is super sparkly and I added more sparkle on the hearts and her dress because a girl cannot have too much sparkle!

Hope you are all having a lovely week.

Bellariffic Friday - Free Form

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week it's a Free Form challenge, so anything goes.  It's also the first Friday of the month so another image goes on sale for 20% off and this month we feature Uptown Girl Catherine Nibbling Chocolate.  She's perfect for Valentines Day but so many other occasions too!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  Catherine comes with the sentiment "you overwhelm me with awesomeness" but I used part of the sentiment from the image Mail Chick.  I love to mix and match my sentiments!  The paper is Authentique "Lively".

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 26.

It's my friend Claudia's birthday today and this is the card I made for her.

I stamped Uptown Girl Paisley has a Prezzie with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics. The paper is retired SU.  One of my goals this year is to purge through all my papers before ordering any new ones - eek!

I added sparkle with my Spectrum Noir pen and added some dots made with Caribbean Ocean Nuvo Crystal Drops.  The sentiment is from Uptown Girl Brittany the Birthday Girl.

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the theme was Friendship.  I used Thinkingofyouabella 2.0 again because I LOVE colouring her and as a bonus, it's still on sale at 20% off!!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I added the "hello" die which I cut out three times and covered with my spectrum noir pen for some sparkle.

On the inside I used part of the sentiment from Scout's Honor.

Bellariffic Friday - Use Holiday Colours

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was to use holiday colours.  It's also the first Friday of the month so all the BellaBabes will be using the stamp of the month that's on sale at 20% off.  This month the stamp is Uptown Girl Chrystal's Christmas Label which as you can see is not only for decorating the envelope but gorgeous as a card!

I stamped Chrystal with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics....using holiday colours!  I kept it very simple just using red cardstock as a mat.  I added some little dots made with my new Nuvo Crystal Drops - I love these - wish I'd bought more colours!  And of course there is glitter on her hat and dress.

You can add any sentiment and I used the sentiment from Rudolph with a present on top.  I also stamped up a matching envelope.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 24 which you can find on the blog.

Bellariffic Friday - Free Form

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was Free Form - so anything you feel like creating.  It's also the first Friday of the month so that means all the Bellababes will be using the stamp of the month - Uptown Girl Lolly and her Brolly.  It's 20% off for the whole month of April.

It's also April 1st - April Fools Day - can you spot the mistake on my card? **

I stamped Lolly with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  Her umbrella and boots are paper pieced.

I added several patches of grass using the new Bella Grass and Grounds.

The paper is Echo Park 'A walk in the park".  I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of vellum and added two dots to help hold it in place, even though I wrapped it around the base.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 8.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

** My mistake:  I glued the raindrop paper on upside down and only noticed when I was taking the photo for this post....too late to fix it then.  "Once it's stuck, you're out of luck" :)

BellaBabes inspiration

I am so lucky to be part of such a wonderful and talented group of ladies on the design team for Stamping Bella.  I have learned so much about copic colouring and shading and layouts and photo taking, etc from my fellow Bellababes!!  Whenever I am stuck for a layout - because I really cannot make a card now without a sketch (LOL) - I turn to my BellaBabes for inspiration.  Danabella is one of the original Babes and Emily's right hand Babe :)

Danabella made a super cute card using The Chicks Who Couldn't Even - click here to see it - and I copied her layout for my card.

I stamped Tiny Townie Melissa Loves Movies and used the co-ordinating Cut it Out to, well, cut it out :)  I coloured the image with copics and the paper is from BoBunny Ambrosia.

I only stamped part of the sentiment that comes with Melissa Loves Movies on the front and stamped the rest on the inside.  Thanks Danabella!!

My next card inspiration came from Shelabella.  She recently made the cutest card using Tiny Townie Rachel Loves The Rain - click here to see it -  and I totally copied her layout.  It was so simple yet super cute, not to mention fast :)

I stamped Uptown Girl Bailey has a Baby with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto  Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  The paper is MME Six by Six Hootenanny.  I used my corner chomper on the one corner and added some dots and it was done.  Thanks Shelabella!

So remember, if you're ever stuck for a layout or idea or need help with shading, just check out any of the Bellababes (listed on my sidebar).  They truly are a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.

Bellariffic Friday - Paper Piecing

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week our challenge was to Paper Piece on our card.

I was itching to ink of some of the many ;) stamps from the latest release but which to choose?  I decided on Uptown Girl Curly Clara Needs Your Address.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  Then I used the matching "Cut It Out" - I LOVE these so much!  No more fussy cutting around the images!  For my paper piecing, I paper pieced her top and the word bubble.  I used the sentiment from Uptown Girl Sunny is Stylish

The paper is Fancy Pants Design "A walk in the park".  I added some dots and doodled around the edges of the card.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch #7.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Bellariffic Friday - 123 card

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was a 123 card, that's 1 image, 2 papers, 3 embellishments.

I stamped Uptown Girl Brynn has a Baby Shower with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  My two papers are Pretty in Pink for the card base and some retired SU pattern paper.  My three embellishments are buttons, twine and the banner across which I stamped with the sentiment from Brett and Brenda Get Married onto a strip of vellum.

Of course there is Wink of Stella and glitter but I pretty much use those on all cards so I didn't count them :)

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 5.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Bellariffic Friday - Love Is In The Air

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge is "Love Is In The Air".  It's also the first Friday of the month so that means Uptown Girl Lucille Sends Her Love is the stamp of the month and available at 20% off all month!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. The paper is BoBunny "Welcome Home and I paired it with some Certainly Celery and Pretty in Pink.  I used my Wink of Stella pen on all the hearts and added glitter to bottom of her dress.  Lucille comes with her own sentiment "sending you oodles of love" but I used the sentiment from I Heart You - I love that you can mix and match Stamping Bella's sentiments!  I added a pink bow and a tiny heart charm tied on with silver cord.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 4.
