Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 3

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week it's Sketch #3 for our challenge.
I decided to stamp a little spring into my life, seeing as this winter doesn't appear to be going anywhere soon!  I stamped Ramona and her Wagon onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.

I rotated the sketch to fit Ramona and instead of the 3 little circles on the sketch I added one felt flower with a button in the middle and a hemp cord bow behind....does that count as three things? :)

On the inside I used a die-namic with some matching DSP.

Here are the copics I used.

We have a new babe joining our team!  We're excited that Tracy MacDonald (I Wanna Build a Memory) is our newest babe!  Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.

Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is "Washi or Ribbon" and that's a no-brainer for me....I'll be using ribbon on my card - LOL!  We hope you'll stamp with us.  It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win those Bella Bucks.

Teaser, Teaser!!

Sneaky peaky......here's another one!  I left this one very simple as the image is perfectly lovely on its own - although I will admit to a little "embellishment withdrawal".

Let's meet "Paige and Peggy Pour Some Tea".  This reminds of when I was little and had many tea parties with my teddy bears.  I stamped the image onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured it with copics.  I added a little shading around the edge with some distress ink.  I added just a bit of glitter to their dresses and a few coats of clear glaze pen on the cupcakes - yummy chocolate with pink icing - mmm.

This image comes with the perfect sentiment from a classic - Winnie the Pooh.

Here are the copics I used.  What I lacked in embellishments, I made up with copics :)

Be sure to check out the rest of the Bloggabella for daily peeks and the release is planning for Feb 24!!

Because You're Special - SSSC206

I played along this week with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (SSSC206).  This was another custom order with a request that it be red and gold with some sort of floral image.

I knew I wanted to use one of my MFT PI girls but there are so many cute ones with flowers it was hard to choose.  I settled on Because You're Special.  I resisted the urge to use too much glitter on her as the gold paper was sparkly enough but I did add some Tiny Twinkles to the flowers.

Her shoes have a coating of black glaze pen for shine and I used some felt to make that gorgeous flower.

Here are the copics I used.

Teaser!!

No more waiting....here's a sneak peek at one of the new Uptown Girls!

I'm happy to introduce "Paisley has a Prezzie"! You can see her on Bloggabella as well.  I am a huge Uptown Girl fan and I had so much fun colouring her - I love how she's hiding the prezzie behind her back!  I stamped Paisley onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  Her hair has unlimited possibilities - can't wait to colour her up as a blonde!  I resisted using my Wink of Stella pen too much just adding a bit to her shirt trim.

I fussy cut Paisley out and popped her up for dimension.  I kept the card front pretty simple because she deserves to be the main attraction :).  I found a tiny piece of an almost perfect match ribbon and with the help of my Bow Easy was able to squeeze out a little bow.  The Divine Swirl embossing folder is used on the white card.  Paisley comes with a sentiment and I'm loving the font on this one!  I offset the sentiment - just for fun.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out Bloggabella daily for more teasers and the babes will be showcasing their cards made with the new images!

Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge #2

It's Bellariffic Friday and today's challenge was a gorgeous "Inspiration" photo.

I was immediately drawn to the fabulous rich, jewel colours of the pillows and went with those for my card colours.

I stamped Cupcake Thief onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  If this layout looks familiar to some of you, it's because DanaBella gave me this card for Christmas and I loved it so much I CASED it!  I fussy cut around this little cutie and layered her on an embossed panel.  The Wink of Stella pen came out again  - glitter on her wings and her fancy mask!  The cherry has a blob of crystal effects on it.

On the inside I stamped just a portion of the image and left lots of space for writing.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Sketch #3 and we hope you'll get stamping with us!

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 2

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was Sketch #2.

It's just two weeks away from Valentine's Day so I inked up Lucille Sends Her Love.  You may notice that my card is not exactly the sketch.  I cut my paper with the angle the other direction....remember a sketch is just a starting point :)

I stamped Lucille onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  I sponged around the edge of the circle with some distress ink to soften it a bit.  The hearts are all covered with my Wink of Stella pen (yes, still LOVE it!) and I added some flecks of glitter around the image.  To finish off all that sparkle I added pink Tiny Twinkles around the scallop circle edge.

On the inside I used the same scallop circle nestie and stamped the sentiment that comes with Lucille - love when the sentiment is included.  I drew a few little hearts with my pink atyou Spica pen.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is an Inspiration challenge and what a gorgeous picture we have to work with!  You can use the colours or anything from the photo that inspires you - I see a phone, flowers, pictures, pillows, chandelier....ooh the possibilities :)

We hope you'll play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win $50 Bella Bucks!

Bellariffic Friday - For My Friends

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was "For My Friends".  I know it's a bit of a shock to see a Christmas card but I wanted a head start on my cards for this year :)

I stamped Uptown Girls The Three Amigas onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured them with copics.  I went a bit crazy with my Wink of Stella pen but it just gives such a wonderful sparkle - I hope you can see it on this close up.  Oh, and I added some clear glaze pen to their fancy drinks.

The girls are the focus on this card but I added a little "jingle bell bow" to the side.

On the inside I made a border with the Chevron Stripes die-namic.  The sentiment comes with the Uptown Girls image and I think it's perfect for a friend.  The only predicament now is which friend to give this to! :)

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Sketch #2 and we hope you'll get stamping with us!

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 1

It’s Bellariffic Friday and our very first sketch of 2014.

You know I love a sketch and this was the perfect layout for my yet to be inked Mimi!

I stamped her on Bella's Bestest paper with Memento ink and coloured her with copics.  I added some crystal effects to her glasses and LOVE how they turned out!

Mimi comes with a bonus – a cute little sentiment “I need to see you badly”.  I didn’t use the sentiment this time as this card was a special order and needed to be blank inside but I did dress the inside up a bit with a cute die-cut edge.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is "For my Friends" so make any card with a friendship theme and you could win some Bella Bucks.  We hope you’ll play along!  Email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win those Bella Bucks and with Emily’s hints of the new release coming they would sure come in handy!

Sweet Sunday Doctor - SSSC202

I was asked to make a special birthday card for a doctor and I have the perfect stamp!  I have used this one over and over again and never tire of it.  I used Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge 202 but rotated it to fit my image.

I stamped the good doctor on Bella's Bestest paper with Memento ink and coloured him with copics.  I added a little black rhinestone to his stethoscope.  I added the birthday greeting on the front to fit with the sketch and popped him up for some dimension.

Here are the copics I used.
