Sneak Peeks - Day 1 - Happy 10 years!!!!

Ten years ago I was introduced to Stamping Bella by my friends Karen and Dana who were both BellaBabes themselves.  I remember driving to the store on a Saturday morning and just looking and looking and being SO happy....I called it my "happy place"!  I was sold on the Bella line immediately and one day while in the store with my two pals....who should come in but the Queen Bella herself - EMILY!!  I was over the moon at meeting her in person.  Here's my photo of us that day.  I am so happy and proud to now be part of Emily's Bellababe team!

So TODAY is the first day of the sneak peeks at Stamping Bella!!!!  It's 10 years since Emily started this absolutely fun, creative, so-true-to-life stamp company!  Happy Anniversary Emily!  If you haven't already looked at Day 1 click here and check them out!  There will be sneak peeks every day until June 25, (Emily's birthday), and then you can order!!

And don't forget to leave a comment there, as Emily will pick a random comment each day and the winner will win the new image!

Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge 4

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had an Inspiration photo to work from.

I chose some of the colours and the circles as the inspiration for my card.

I stamped the image, Harry the Stuffie Gets Happy Mail, with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured him with copics.  The paper is MME Lost & Found, Portobello Road.  I added some enamel dots and Wink of Stella to the heart on his envelope.  On the inside I stamped Harry again in Grout Gray ink - my fav for a soft look.  The sentiment "happy mail" comes with the image.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is another Mojobella Sketch 13.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Faux gardening :)

I had really bad hayfever today so stayed inside and made a gardening card instead of really gardening - which just makes my allergies worse!

I stamped Gardening Chicks with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics, then used the matching die to cut it out.  The paper is BoBunny "Ambrosia" with some Melon Mambo cardstock.  I used the Honeycomb embossing folder for the card base and added some enamel dots around.  The sentiment comes with the image and I love that the matching die cuts it out perfectly too!

Hope you had a good day....with no allergies!

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 12

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we are up to Mojobella Sketch 12.

This was another custom order birthday card for a girl who loves pink and movies!

I stamped Tiny Townie Melissa Loves Movies with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I used the matching Cut It Out and mounted her on some foam tape for dimension.  The paper is Lilybeedesign "Head Over Heels".  The background was done with a large polka dot stencil and I added a ton of Wink of Stella over all the dots.  The sentiment is from Tiny Townie Blossom Loves Balloons and I stamped it on a Fishtail Flag.  I added a trio of enamel dots to finish off the sketch.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Inspiration Challenge 4 and here is the gorgeous photo.

Bellariffic Friday - Favourite embellishment

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was to use your favourite embellishment.  It was really hard for me to chose one.  I LOVE my Wink of Stella pen for a soft sparkle (I think I use it on every card) and I LOVE Fishtail Flag banners.  I also love buttons and bows....okay I'll stop now :)

It's also the first Friday of the month so all the Bellababes will be using I'll Always Have Your Back which is the stamp of the month and 20% off all month.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  For my colouring, I followed the fantastic chart that Elaineabella posted here for Marker Geek Monday.  I have learned so much from her posts!  I also added a few more bunches of grass from Bella's Grass and Grounds set.  I sponged some clouds in the sky.  The paper is Lilybeedesign "Persnickety".  I used my Wink of Stella on the flower and then added a couple of Fishtail Flags with a button/bow on top.

On the inside I kept the Fishtail Flags theme and stamped the sentiment that comes with the image.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 12.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 11

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we have Mojobella Sketch 11.

I love doing custom card orders and this Birthday card was for a 7 year old boy.

I stamped the image, Milton, with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured him with copics.  The paper is Echo Park "Little Boy Collection".  I stamped out two extra balloons and cut them out then added a ton of Wink of Stella and boy, do they sparkle!

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Use Your Favourite Embellishment.  Oh my goodness, I have so many - which will I choose?

Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge 3

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had another inspiration challenge photo - perfect for wedding season which is upon us!

I decided to go with the colours, the flowers and the wedding theme for my card.

I stamped the image Close Ups "I Do" with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I sponged some Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry distress ink over a Funky Florals stencil.  It's not a wedding without some sparkle so my Wink of Stella was added to her dress along with some glitter on the lace of her dress.  I added lots of sequins around the image too.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 11.

Design Team Thursday

It's my turn for Design Team (DT) Thursday and today I'm going to show you how I combined two different Stamping Bella images to make a "new" image.  This was a special order birthday card for a little girl who loves purple and does many types of dance including ribbon dancing.

I combined two stamp sets to make this card for her.

(Tiny Townie Fairy Best Friends)

and

(Tiny Townie Tiny Dancers)

I coloured up the left Tiny Townie Fairy with copic markers.  I used the matching Cut It Out and then cut off the other Fairy so I was left with this image.

Then I coloured up one of the ribbons from Tiny Townie Dancers and fussy cut it out.  This is what it looked like.

I added it over the Fairy's hand to cover up the fact that I'd cut off the other fairy - LOL.  I popped up both the image and the ribbon for some dimension.  Here's a closer look.

I love making custom order cards for people and combining different Stamping Bella images makes it easy!

I've made many cards combining images and sentiments.  Here are just a few.

Make a Wish Hoppy Poppy image with partial sentiment from Milton.

Uptown Girl Curly Clara Needs Your Address with sentiment from Uptown Girl Sunny is Stylish.

Pampered image with sentiment from Uptown Girl Serena Has a Sign.  (This was a thank you for a spa gift card I received)

Uptown Girl Fiona Loves Flowers image with sentiment from Uptown Girl Brittany the Birthday Girl.

I hope you've enjoyed this DT Thursday and you look at your stamps differently now and find ways to combine images.

Happy Birthday Vicky

It's Vicky's birthday today and I had so much fun making this card for her.  She loves elephants, seriously LOVES them!

This cute image is called Birthday Elephant which seems appropriate :)

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is MME "Happy Day".

On the inside I stamped the funny sentiment that comes with the set.

I fussy cut the hat and present and popped them up for some dimension.  I added an enamel dot to the hat and a scattering of glitter.  The balloon is really sparkly from a thick layer of Wink of Stella.

I love VIcky to bits and wish her the BEST birthday ever!

Bellariffic Friday - Washi or Ribbon

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week our challenge was to use washi tape or ribbon on our card. It's also the first Friday of the month so that means another stamp on sale for the whole month!  All the Bellababes will be using Lulu's Garden of Daisies.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Lilybeedesign and the white background was done with the Lattice embossing folder.  I added a wide piece of ribbon behind the image and a scattering of sequins.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch 10.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.
