Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 22

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we are up to Mojobella Sketch 22. I made a Christmas card as it is fast approaching!

I stamped the image, ChristmasGIFTabella 2.0. with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics following Elaineabella's fab colour map. I used the coordinating die to cut her out - love those matching dies! Then I popped her up onto a fishtail flag. The paper is BoBunny Mistletoe. She has lots of glitter and the embossing folder is Divine Swirl. The sentiment comes with the image and it is perfect.

Bellariffic Friday - Make a Tag

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was to make a tag. I made a tag....and then added it to a card - that counts, right? :)

It's also the first Friday of the month so that means that this little cutie, Sleepy Bunny Wobble, is on sale at 20% off for the whole month! I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. I followed Elaineabella's colour map exactly for the colours and used the coordinating die to cut him out.

I love that this image could be used for so many different occasions - baby, miss you, thinking of you, sending you a hug, etc. Another thing I love about Stampingbella images is you can mix up/share the sentiments. Here I used the first line of the sentiment from Tiny Townie Amanda is Awesome "I miss you" on the front of the card and on the inside I stamped the sentiment that comes with Sleepy Bunny Wobble.

Happy Mail

I made a couple of cards just for fun last month but forgot to blog them. I used PI "Happy Mail" - I know how happy I am when I receive happy mail, for no particular reason!

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. The paper is MME Unforgettable. Her shoes are super shiney courtesy of some glossy accents and I added sparkle with my Wink of Stella pen. I stamped the sentiment on a banner and added a trio of sparkly dots.

I hope this card brings a smile to my friends when they receive it.

Happy Halloween

Today's card uses one of those sweet PI girls that I adore - Pumpkin Patch Girl.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. I added some of Bella's Grounds and Grasses around her. The paper is Lilybeedesign Autumn Spice and I paper pieced her little sweater. I added some twine with a small button at the top. The clouds were sponged on. I hope everyone has a fun Halloween.

Bellariffic Friday...on a Sunday - Sketch 21

I'm a couple of days late with Bellariffic Friday. This week we had Mojobella Sketch 21 to work with.

It was a wet, rainy day here today so I inked up Tiny Townie Rachel Loves The Rain which seemed appropriate except I coloured her with bright sunny colours.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics. I used the matching Cut It Out die. The paper is old SU pattern paper. I added glossy accents to the puddle and Wink of Stella to her umbrella. A few enamel dots finished it off.

Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge 7

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had another great photo to use as our inspiration.

I took the rich fall colours and inked up Tiny Townie Patricia Loves Pumpkins.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. The paper is Elegant Eggplant with some scraps that I stamped dots and stripes on. I also took inspiration from two of my fellow babes, Michele and Faye. They always have such great layouts so I copied Faye's doodling, and Michele's assorted fishtail flags. This team is full of talent! I added some Wink of Stella to her dress and tights and a few sequins.

On the inside I used the fun sentiment that comes with the image.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 20

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we have Mojobella Sketch 20 to work with. I used another new image, Balloonabella 2.0 on this card for my friend Christal.

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. I used the co-ordinating cut it out die to cut it out perfectly! The paper is Doodlebug Design "Sunkissed" and I embossed the purple cardstock with the Perfect Polkadots embossing folder. I added a few rhinestones on the sentiment that comes with the image and some Wink of Stella to the balloons. I used my white gel pen to add some dimension to them too.

Bellariffic Friday - Inspiration Challenge 6

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had a beautiful photo as our Inspiration Challenge.

The pumpkins were the first thing I saw and pumpkins make me think of Halloween so I decided to make another Halloween card.

I stamped Tiny Townie Willow the Witch with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics. The paper is appropriately called "Happy Halloween" by Echo Park. I used the cut it out die that comes with the bundle to pop up Willow.onto a stitched circle die. A bit of rick rack ribbon, some sequins and lots of Wink of Stella on her hat and skirt and this little witch is ready for Halloween.

I'm following Elaineabella's outstanding videos and they are really helping me with my shading - at least I think so - LOL! Here's a close up.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment that comes with the image.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 19

Apologies, I'm late with my Bellariffic Friday card. This week we had another great sketch.

I was itching to use one of the many (eek) new images that arrived last week from the latest release. I inked up The Wizard, the Witch and the Cauldron Chicks with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured them with copics. There are three chicks with matching dies that come with this set but I just used two of them.

The paper is Echo Park "The Apothecary Emporium" along with some purple and green scraps. The image is mounted onto a scallop square die and I added a couple of fishtail flags with a button on top. As always, there is some Wink of Stella on the image.

Bellariffic Friday - Create Your Own Background

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was to create your own background. I got out my tiny selection of "mixed media" stuff and got messy but ended up with what I call a "Pretty in Pink" card.

I stamped Flowersbehindmybackabella 2.0 with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics. For the background I coloured some embossing paste with Dr. Ph Martin's watercolour ink in Cerise, mixed it up and applied it over a floral stencil. When it was dry I sprayed a light mist of Creme Brulee Cream for some shimmer. I added a few sequins and some Wink of Stella to her hairband and dress. Here's a close up of the texture you get with embossing paste and some of the shimmer.

On the inside I used a strip of the background I had left over and the sentiment that comes with the image. I used the cut it out die for the image and the sentiment - no more fussy cutting!
