Teaser alert - The Bee and the Heart

Hurray!  It's DAY 1 of the teasers from the new collection!  I have three, yes, THREE teaser cards to share with you today.  We'll start with this little cutie called "The Bee and the Heart".  

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Lilybeedesign Autumn Spice.  I added some Wink of Stella to the wings and a trio of enamel dots at the top.  I copied the layout from this card from Shelabella.  Whenever I'm stuck for a layout, I always check out the rest of the Babes for inspiration!

I love the sentiment that comes with this image - you could use it for so many occasions!

Bellariffic Friday - First one of 2017!

It's our first Bellariffic Friday of 2017 and this week there was no challenge, so it was anything goes.  It's also the first Friday of the month so that means a new image on sale. This month, it's ThinkingofyouABELLA 2.0 and I just want to say she is a dream to colour up!!  

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  I used the Cut it Out die from the bundle and mounted her for some dimension.

Happy 2017 - let's start with a sale!

I hope you all had a lovely, restful holiday doing what you love with those you love!

Happy Birthday BFF

I made this card for my BFF for her birthday in her fav colours. 

I stamped the image, Allboxedupabella 2.0, with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  The paper is retired SU.  I added a border of purple that I edged with Wink of Stella pen for some sparkle.  I also added some to the gift itself.  My BFF doesn't like glitter but she likes sparkle so I have to be veeeeery careful with her cards - LOL.  I kept the rest of the card simple and added a trio of enamel dots.

Penguin family

I showed a Penguin couple last week and today I'll show a Penguin family - LOL.

I stamped the image of the two penguins with their igloo with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I stamped the little baby penguin the same way and popped him up in front.  The paper is retired SU paper.  I added sparkle with some sequins across the skyline and glitter for the snow.  The snowflake was made with glitter paper and I added a sparkle dot in the middle.  I used some tinsel cord underneath the snowflake.

Bellariffic Friday - Winter White

It's the LAST Bellariffic Friday for 2016 - can you believe it?!  The challenge was to make a Winter White card and I turned it into my annual Starbucks Christmas card.  I gave it to them yesterday and they loved it!

I stamped The Penguin and the Marshmallow with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The background was done with the Softly Falling embossing folder and I cut a couple of snowdrifts.  I spritzed the whole card with Shimmer Frost Spritz.  To personalize it for my favourite Starbucks I paper pieced the mug from a real Starbucks cup.

Oliver's 1st Christmas

Here's a special card for Oliver's very first Christmas.  

I stamped Snookums with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured him with copics in Christmas colours.  The paper is Simple Stories December Documented.  

I used a tiny alphabet to print out the sentiment and tied a couple of tiny bells with bakers twine to the fishtail flags.  I added some wink of stella to the trim on his little hat.

Penguin couple

It's down to the wire now to get all my cards posted before the holidays.  I've made them, just haven't had time to blog them :)

I stamped the image Warm and Fuzzy Penguins with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Echo Park Wintertime and I misted the Not Quite Navy cardstock with some shimmer spritz.  It gives such a lovely soft sparkle.  I kept the rest of the card simple, just adding a felt snowflake and button.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 24

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we have our last Mojobella sketch of the year.  I have loved these sketches!  I love the sentiment that comes with Santa is Stuck and was pleased with how fast he coloured up!

I stamped Santa is Stuck with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Simple Stories "December Documentary" and BoBunny "Mistletoe Collection.

Bellariffic Friday - Use Holiday Colours

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was to use holiday colours.  It's also the first Friday of the month so all the BellaBabes will be using the stamp of the month that's on sale at 20% off.  This month the stamp is Uptown Girl Chrystal's Christmas Label which as you can see is not only for decorating the envelope but gorgeous as a card!

I stamped Chrystal with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics....using holiday colours!  I kept it very simple just using red cardstock as a mat.  I added some little dots made with my new Nuvo Crystal Drops - I love these - wish I'd bought more colours!  And of course there is glitter on her hat and dress. 

You can add any sentiment and I used the sentiment from Rudolph with a present on top.  I also stamped up a matching envelope.
