Bellariffic Friday - Another new BABE!!!!

It's Bellariffic Friday and I am over the moon about the new babe joining our team this week.  I have been a long time HUGE fan of Michele's work for ages!  Her colouring, her shading, her layout are all outstanding, in fact I used one of her layouts just two weeks ago on my April 17 Bellariffic Friday card!  So a BIG welcome to Michele!  You can click here for her blog or on my sidebar - be sure to check her out and give her a big Bella welcome.  Okay back to this week's challenge.....we had a colour inspiration photo.

It's also the first Friday of the month so that means another "featured" stamp on sale for all of May.  This month we present Lulu loves Poppies at 20% off!

I stamped Lulu loves Poppies onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  I used the inspiration photo for my layout, which was kind of fun and I was able to fit my sentiment in all the colour swatches.  I can't make a card without some Wink of Stella on it and Lulu's headband and shoes sparkle from it.  I added a small rhinestone to her hairband too.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Sketch #9 and we hope you'll get stamping with us.

It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Don't forget Lulu loves Poppies is on sale all month long - check her out here!

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch #8

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we're up to Sketch #8.

I made another birthday card using one of the new Uptown Girls.

I stamped Uptown Girl Charlotte Loves to Shop onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  She was so much fun to colour and so easy when you just copy the colour index card that comes with the image or you can download the colourmap!  The paper is MME "Happy Day" and I added some Crystal Effects to her sunglasses.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is a Colour Inspiration photo and we hope you'll get stamping with us.  Just use one or some or all of the colours in the photo on your card.

It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.  And remember next week is a new month so that means all the Bellababes will be using the "Stamp of the Month" that will be 20% off for the month of May.

Bellariffic Friday - Birthday Wishes....and a new BellaBabe!

It's Bellariffic Friday and before I get to this week's challenge - we have a new Babe!  A warm welcome to Alice Wertz who has joined the Bellababes team.  Her blog is perfectly named Alice's Little Wonderland and you can check our her blog here or on my sidebar.  Okay, on to this week and the challenge was "Birthday Wishes".  April is a busy birthday month for me so I was happy to cross one more card off my list :)

I made this card for my friend Anna.

I stamped Uptown Girl Serena has a Sign onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  I loved this layout of Michelle Boyer and copied it for my card.  The paper is MME "Happy Day".  I added some rhinestones scattered around and of course my Wink of Stella pen on her skirt.  This image comes with three sentiments including the Happy Birthday I stamped in the sign, although I can think of so many other uses and sayings for this image - it's perfect for so many occasions!

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Sketch #8 and we hope you'll get stamping with us

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch #7

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we are up to Sketch - #7.

This card is for a couple celebrating their 5th wedding anniversary.

I stamped Valerie in Love onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured it with copics.  I sponged some clouds in the sky and added some sparkle to the hearts in the balloons with my Wink of Stella pen.  The paper is BoBunny "Welcome Home" and I mounted the image onto a paper doily.  I added a little "5" on the bow and used a blue ribbon as one of the colours for a 5th wedding anniversary is blue.

Be sure to check of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is "BIRTHDAY WISHES" and we hope you'll get stamping with us.

Bellariffic Friday - "Stitch It Up"

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was "Stitch it up" and it's also the first Friday of the month so that means a new stamp on sale at 20% off!  This month it's Uptown Girl Rebecca Loves to Read

For my card I decided to give the look of sewing but with no thread....so essentially paper piercing :)

I stamped Rebecca onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.  This card is for my co-worker Christal who is relaxing at home today, hopefully curled up in bed with a good book like Rebecca!  I fussy cut the image and popped it up on some Echo Park Summer Bliss paper that I cut out using the Pierced Circle Stax die.  In keeping with the reading theme I stamped the background with Romantic Script.  The pillow edges sparkle from my Wink of Stella pen.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Sketch #7 and we hope you'll get stamping with us.

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 6

It's Bellariffic Friday and I'm happy to be back playing along with this week's challenge which was sketch #6.

I stamped Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured her with copics.

The paper is MME Indie Chic "Citron".  I used a Scallop circle nestie and Pierced Circle STAX die-namic to cut out the image and my Wink of Stella pen for some sparkle on her dress.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is "Stitch It Up", so using real or faux stitching on your card or even a sewing theme or paper - it's totally up to you.  It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Next week is also a new month so that means a new stamp image on sale for the whole month of April - can't wait to see what the rest of the Bellababes come up with!

Ali's goodbye -SSSC258

My favourite barista, Ali, left Starbucks!  While I am so happy for him in his new job I was so sad to see him leave.  He was a breath of sunshine each morning to me and many, many Starbucks customers.

I made his card using the SSSC258 layout.  The sentiment is Stampingbella "Sometimes People Forget" and it was perfect for Ali!  The paper is Echo Park "A Boy's Life".  I drew two little Starbucks cups and personalized them as he does for me each morning!  And just for the record, I don't get two drinks every day - one is for my co-worker Vicky :)

Here is the inside using the second sentiment that is included.

He loved his card - he got teary, I got teary.  Sometimes tears can be happy and sad at the same time!

Christmas night - SSSC257

Here is my card using the SSSC257 layout - and my first Christmas card for 2015!

The only stamping on this is the snowflake.  I wanted to try a blended sky and was pleased with it but need to practice a bit more.  I used four Tim Holtz Distress inks: weathered wood, dusty concord, tumbled glass and salty ocean and blended them all together with a blending sponge.  The die is from Memory Box and it's called Country Landscape.  I added some sparkle to the rooftops and a big, bright moon in the corner.

Sympathy - SSSC256

Keeping up with my Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, here is my card using the SSSC256 layout.

I stamped two poppies from LJD Pretty Poppies  onto Bella's Bestest paper with Wild Cherry and Jellybean Green ink.  The sentiment is from CS About Sympathy and I added some sequins to balance it out.

I'm back

Sorry for my quick and unexplained disappearance.  I had to leave the country very unexpectedly for a family funeral and am just getting back on my feet.  I had several cards made but didn't have time to post them on my blog before I left so watch for a flurry of activity soon :)
