Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 7 - Milo missing Millie

Remember this post - Millie minus Milo?  Well, I had to give Milo equal time, so today's card features Milo and is a cute little sketch from Ebru.  I can't believe we're already up to sketch #7!

I stamped Milo in Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured him with copics, adding a bit of extra shading with pencil crayons and OMS.

The funny thing about this image is before I started colouring Milo, at first glance, I thought he was holding a book with hearts on the cover and wearing a jacket with wide lapels!  Go on, have another look at him - please tell me it's not just me? :)  Thank goodness I took a closer look!  The pattern paper is MME Lime Twist Out of the Blue with some red, olive and not quite navy card stock.  The strip across the middle was in with my olive scraps and is the negative from one of my scallop borders.  The red paper is embossed with the Harlequin texture plate and I added a black button tied with baker's twine instead of the flower that was on the sketch.  I used my red Atyou Spica pen for some sparkle on the hearts because I'm guessing this gift is for Millie!  Please note (especially my sister) that I was VERY brave and sewed a zig-zag across the top of the image!

Cheerio.....Leslie

I agree with Cath you really knocked this one out of the park especially since you didn't colour a book and lapels!!
