Bellariffic Friday - Holiday Wishes

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week the challenge was "Holiday Wishes".  I inked up another new release - Seniorita Erma!

I stamped Erma onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured her with copics.  I have to say I'm loving the new coloured index cards - I coloured mine exactly the same - so no stress, easy-peasy!

I kept the layout simple just adding some red baker's twine and a couple of bells.  Of course, I added some Wink of Stella but now I wish I'd added some crystal effects to the red dots on her too.

I ADORE the sentiment that comes with Erma - I feel it's perfect for me :)

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is another sketch #24.

Rudolph

I added 6 cards to my Christmas stash with this cutie.

It's another image from Your Next Stamp called "Believe in the Magic" and he coloured up super quickly.  When I "mass produce" I make sure the image is easy to colour and the layout is simple.  I do all the cutting, then colouring, then finishing touches.  I find that's the fastest way for me :)

I stamped the image onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured it with copics.  I made his nose shiny and red (like Rudolph) and added some googly eyes which roll around in the funniest way!  A little banner with a button and a hemp bow finished off the card.

Here are the copics I used.

Merry Kissmas - SSSC245

I'm very late making this card but was determined to keep up with my "Christmas" Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge to myself :)

The layout is SSSC245 and I made two identical cards as I had all the supplies out and it was pretty quick to colour up.

I stamped PI Merry Kissmas onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured it with copics. I added some glitter to her hat and along the bottom for snow and I also added some tiny dots of glitter - they look like tiny snowflakes falling - but it's hard to see in the photo.

I was hurrying to finish these cards and totally forgot to take my copic photo - sorry.

So happy I was able to squeak this one in and looking forward to this Sunday's sketch!

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 23

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we're up to Sketch #23.

There is nothing better than a BFF and mine is the best!  I made this card for her birthday.

I stamped Beatrice and Barbara are Besties onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured the image with copics.  I fussy cut the image out and popped it up over the teal circle.  The background is embossed with a Lattice embossing folder and I switched up the sketch a bit, putting the banner at the top instead of the bottom to fit better with the image.  I added some glitter with my Wink of Stella pen to their pj's and the cushion trim.

For the inside I stamped the oh-so-perfect sentiment and used some circle nesties to mimic the front of the card.  I coloured three little rhinestones with my copic marker as I didn't have any orange ones.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is "Holiday Wishes" which is perfect - grab any holiday image, Christmas, Hanukkah, whatever you like and stamp with us - you'll be able to cross one more card off your "to make" list :)

Bellariffic Friday - Christmas Soldiers

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had a very pretty inspiration photo.

The colours reminded me of The Grinch movie with all those lovely bright colours.  Remember Cindy Lou? I love that movie!

For my card I used the newly released Christmas Soldiers and stamped them onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I used copics to colour them.

I think these little soldiers are adoreable -  they look like they march to their own beat!  I especially love the second solder in - who looks like he's doing the King Tut dance - I totally made him the leader of the group!  I kept the layout pretty simple and didn't add any embellishments so it's easier to mail.  I will admit to a little trick though - I didn't have a colour paper to match their jackets so I used the bullet end of my copic to colour a long strip on Bella's Bestest paper and it matches perfectly!  I learned that from Jennifer McGuires blog.

On the inside I kept it simple using just the sentiment that comes with the image.

Here are the copics I used.

Winter Fun - SSSC244

It's Sunday and that means another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge (SSSC244) and my own personal challenge to make them ALL Christmas cards.  I will admit, I was a bit freaked out by the tilted panel but I persevered :)

I stamped Winter Fun Robin onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured it with copics.  He's certainly not a robin, not sure what bird he is - LOL.  I stamped the trees again and fussy cut them out so they would be outside the circle and it also gave them some dimension.  I added some tiny flecks of glitter to the trees and the bird's hat.  The sentiment is stamped onto a vellum banner and I strategically placed a tiny glue dot behind the "&" so it doesn't show.

Here are the copics I used.

Have a great week.

Bellariffic Friday - Sketch 22

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we're up to sketch #22.

I used another one of Emily's new release....One Of My Peeps.  I love these little chicks and the fact that you can use the whole row of them or just a trio from the right or left side if you fussy cut them out.

I stamped One Of My Peeps onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured them with copics.  I LOVE the new coloured index cards!!  It makes the images so easy to colour - I just copied the colours and shading from it - no stress!

I added crystal effects to their sunglasses and a spica atyou pen for some glitter.  I scattered some sequins and rhinestones to fill the empty space. On the inside I used the fun sentiment that comes with the image.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is a beautiful inspiration photo to get you in the mood for the holidays and started on your cards...if you haven't already :)

Popular baby

I'm telling you not a week goes by that I don't get asked to make a baby card or a baby's first birthday card and Snookums is THE most popular image requested!  So here's the latest one.

I stamped Snookums onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink and coloured him with copics.  I added a zig zag die border and some candy dots.  My sewing machine got dusted off too - I really enjoy sewing on my cards but from the looks of these "straight" lines, I need some more practice :)

Here are the copics I used.

Happy Christmas - SSSC243

With the clocks turned back an hour last night I had some extra time to stamp today!  There's a push on for my Christmas cards now - I am SO behind compared to last year!  So, my challenge to myself is to play along with every SSSC and make them all holiday cards....here's SSSC243.

I stamped the cute PI Happy Christmas onto Bella's Bestest paper with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and coloured her with copics.  I fussy cut her out and popped her up onto a circle that I embossed with the Perfect Polkadots folder.  I added my Wink of Stella pen to the tree star and her hat trim and mittens.

Here are the copics I used.
