BellaBabes inspiration

I am so lucky to be part of such a wonderful and talented group of ladies on the design team for Stamping Bella.  I have learned so much about copic colouring and shading and layouts and photo taking, etc from my fellow Bellababes!!  Whenever I am stuck for a layout - because I really cannot make a card now without a sketch (LOL) - I turn to my BellaBabes for inspiration.  Danabella is one of the original Babes and Emily's right hand Babe :)

Danabella made a super cute card using The Chicks Who Couldn't Even - click here to see it - and I copied her layout for my card.

I stamped Tiny Townie Melissa Loves Movies and used the co-ordinating Cut it Out to, well, cut it out :)  I coloured the image with copics and the paper is from BoBunny Ambrosia.

I only stamped part of the sentiment that comes with Melissa Loves Movies on the front and stamped the rest on the inside.  Thanks Danabella!!

My next card inspiration came from Shelabella.  She recently made the cutest card using Tiny Townie Rachel Loves The Rain - click here to see it -  and I totally copied her layout.  It was so simple yet super cute, not to mention fast :)

I stamped Uptown Girl Bailey has a Baby with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto  Bella’sBestest paper and coloured her with copics.  The paper is MME Six by Six Hootenanny.  I used my corner chomper on the one corner and added some dots and it was done.  Thanks Shelabella!

So remember, if you're ever stuck for a layout or idea or need help with shading, just check out any of the Bellababes (listed on my sidebar).  They truly are a wealth of knowledge and inspiration.

Bellariffic Friday - Mojobella Sketch 7

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we have Mojobella Sketch 7.

I inked up another new release "Meet Edna" - love her sweet face - those eyes, those lips!

stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I used the matching "cut it out" and mounted her on a stitched rectangle die.  The paper is MME Lost & Found.  I added a trio of sparkly dots and of course some Wink of Stella to her wings and the dots.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Free Form.  So that means any stamp, any layout, whatever you feel like!

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Finally Spring

It sure doesn't feel like Spring arrived yesterday but it did!  I made this sweet little card using a layout I saw here.

I stamped the image, Mail Chick, with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  I then used the co-ordinating Cut It Out and popped it up on one of the circles.  The paper is MME "Memorable" with some grey and pink card stock.

I added some swirly rhinestones to the image and some silver washi tape to a strip of card stock before I cut it out with the Fishtail Flags die.  Of course the heart on the envelope has my usual Wink of Stella for some sparkle :)

I only stamped part of the sentiment on the front of the card and the rest on the inside with the same image of the cute Mail Chick stamped very lightly in a soft grey ink.

Here's hoping our weather soon feels like Spring!

Bellariffic Friday - Paper Piecing

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week our challenge was to Paper Piece on our card.

I was itching to ink of some of the many ;) stamps from the latest release but which to choose?  I decided on Uptown Girl Curly Clara Needs Your Address.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’sBestest paper and coloured it with copics.  Then I used the matching "Cut It Out" - I LOVE these so much!  No more fussy cutting around the images!  For my paper piecing, I paper pieced her top and the word bubble.  I used the sentiment from Uptown Girl Sunny is Stylish

The paper is Fancy Pants Design "A walk in the park".  I added some dots and doodled around the edges of the card.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Mojobella Sketch #7.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.

Bellariffic Friday- Mojobella Sketch 6

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we are up to Mojobella Sketch 6.

I inked up Peekaboo Bunny Stuffie which you can use for Birthdays or Christmas (depending on your colours) or missing you, as the sentiment that comes with it says (although I used a different sentiment on my card)

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo black ink onto Bella’s Bestest paper and coloured it with copics.  The paper is Echo Park Summer Bliss with a card base of Bermuda Bay.  I used the Pierced Circle STAX to cut out the image and the Pierced Fishtail Flag STAX for the banner.  The sentiment on the banner comes from Tiny Townie Ellie the Elf.  I love that the sentiments from Stamping Bella can be mixed and matched.  I mounted the pierced circle image onto a piece of card stock that I had embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder.  I covered the bow with a generous coat of Wink of Stella – it sparkles so much in real life!  A few dots in the corners finished off the card.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is Paper Piecing.

We hope you'll get stamping with us. It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks.
