Sweet Sunday Tweet

I'm visiting my friend Karen this weekend and her stamp room is a stampers dream!  I haven't stamped in a few weeks so was happy to have carte blanche in her room!

For my card I used this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, SSSC124.  I just love the MFT Pure Innocence girls and Karen has some I don't have so I picked "You're So Tweet" 'cause she really is so sweet!  I inked her in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured her with copics.  Her dress was perfect for paper piecing and I used a pink Spica Glitter Pen on her little waistband and heart. I used an oval nestie with the matching scallop oval behind and two dies I don't have at home, the MFT First Place Award Ribbon Die-namic and Papertrey Ink Rick-rac.  I was watching Karen when she made her card for the SSSC124 and loved her trick of faux shine shoes, so I gave it a try.....I like it!   The paper is Echo Park Little Girl - so bright and fun!  It felt good to get back stamping and it's no wonder I'm creative when in Karen's room!

Cheerio.....Leslie

Sounds like you had a great time...it's always fun to play with new things and I'm sure Karen has a ton of MFT stuff to keep you busy. This PI cutie looks great decked out in her heart print dress. And I love how you made the Ric Rac border.
