I was asked to make a thank you card for a teacher. I forgot to ask if it was a male or female teacher - fingers crossed it's female! I played along with Karen's SSSC187.
My Mum has been visiting for a few days and I thought she might like seeing how a card comes together. Turns out she doesn't read my blog very often....what?! Let's see how long it takes her to phone me after seeing this card all finished - LOL.
She kept pointing to the Big Shot and all my dies and nesties wondering how they worked so I used my fav Fishtail Flags Stax die-namics on the inside and might have impressed her even more had my zig zag sewing not gone a bit crooked. Here are the copics I used.
My Mum did say "oh I see now" when I showed her the sketch. I think I enjoyed the card making more than she did, but it was fun to show her the process :)
Cheerio.....Leslie
Paper: MME Miss Caroline Howdy Doody, SU River Rock
Other: Fishtail Flags Stax die-namics, circle and scallop circle nesties,
SU Vanilla Flower Trim ribbon, glitter, tiny twinkles

What a perfect thank you card for a teacher!! So cute
This is so perfect for a teacher card! Your Mum is adorable! I can just hear her. :-)
I'm loving how you incorporated all the layers of this sketch - the papers blend so nicely and the row of fabric roses is so vintage! Perfect thank you card for a teacher.
Oh my Leslie, this is just so adorable and pretty! Beautiful colouring, love the paper choice, and love those roses. I have some of them and never think to use them - maybe you have just inspired me to get them out.
