Bellariffic Friday - Christmas Soldiers

It's Bellariffic Friday and this week we had a very pretty inspiration photo.

The colours reminded me of The Grinch movie with all those lovely bright colours.  Remember Cindy Lou? I love that movie!

For my card I used the newly released Christmas Soldiers and stamped them onto Bella's Bestest paper with Memento Tuxedo black ink.  I used copics to colour them.

I think these little soldiers are adoreable -  they look like they march to their own beat!  I especially love the second solder in - who looks like he's doing the King Tut dance - I totally made him the leader of the group!  I kept the layout pretty simple and didn't add any embellishments so it's easier to mail.  I will admit to a little trick though - I didn't have a colour paper to match their jackets so I used the bullet end of my copic to colour a long strip on Bella's Bestest paper and it matches perfectly!  I learned that from Jennifer McGuires blog.

On the inside I kept it simple using just the sentiment that comes with the image.

Here are the copics I used.

Be sure to check out the rest of the BellaBabes and the Sistah's cards for this week on Blogabella.  Next week's Bellariffic Friday challenge is another sketch #23 and we hope you'll get stamping with us.

It's easy to play along - just ink up any current (check the website) Stamping Bella image, and email your card to Emily by next Thursday for a chance to win some Bella Bucks
