Bellariffic Friday - Kraft

It's Bellariffic Friday on a Saturday and I'm blaming it on Blogger! :)  The challenge for this Friday was to use kraft in your card.  I love the look of kraft and don't use it near enough.  I needed a card for a little girl called Findlay and My Beary Best Friend from Stamping Bella seemed perfect as I could stamp him on kraft cardstock and save me some colouring - crafty, aren't I?!
I stamped him a few more times so I could layer (or is it paper piece?) his body and his head and little Findlay's hand holding him.  I actually did shade him just a touch with my W1 copic but I will say, using kraft cardstock for teddy bears is a real time-saver.
The pattern paper is Stampin' Up Pawsitively Prints from their Build-a-Bear line.  I used the MFT Open Scallop Border Die-namic, a bit of SU Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon and four bon bons in the corners.  Oh and I can't forget my new Lacy Square nestie - LOVE these!!  I tried to sew again but clearly it was too late for me to be sewing and I need more practice - it's a bit wonky!  A little glitter on the bear's heart and it was ready for Findlay - hope she likes it.

Cheerio.....Leslie

The card is lovely, especially with the pretty beads in the corners and the lovely bow....what little girl wouldn't love it?

But how come I was the only one that Mom ever handed the seam ripper to and who watched as she made me rip out crooked stitching....clearly it seems she missed you.

I'm calling her now! :)

Love....your favourite sister

Tell your sistah that crooked stitching on cards is called art - on your clothes it's called a mistake. There! I find this card to be adorable. And awesome that you used so few copics to achieve this masterpiece.
