Happy Birthday Vicky

Today is my friend Vicky's Birthday!  Vicky enjoys her wine - red wine to be specific - so I knew that Winobella was the perfect image for her!
I used The Sweet Shop sketch for this week SSS108.  I started by stamping the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it with copics.  Oh, and I tried some sewing again and it seems a little straighter  this time :)  I just need to keep practicing.
I added several coats of clear glaze pen to the wine glasses and the bottle - not sure if it's a Cabernet Sauvignon or a Shiraz!  The cute little flower die is my new MFT Pretty Posies die-namic and I just added a button to the middle.  The paper is the Twitterpated Collection, Pebbles line and it's called "Delightful" which is what Vicky is...just delightful!

Wishing you a wonderful birthday Vicky - enjoy your day!

Good grief!

Clearly one of us got the sewing skills and one of us got the stamping skills.

I'm starting a blog to end sloppy corners.......

Tip of the Day
- sew to the corner
- leave the needle IN the card
- raise the presser foot
- turn the card 90 degrees (just turn the corner)
- lower the presser foot
- sew to the next corner
- repeat as needed
- drink to your success

Don't make me come over there with Mom to give you a lesson.

Ok your sister is TOO FUNNY! The other tip is when you get close to the corner don't use the foot pedal hand turn then you can make the last stitch smaller if you need to :)
AWESOME card my friend I'm sure Vicki LOVED her!!
