Ski Bunny - SSSC145

Well, we don't have any snow here - in fact yesterday I was raking leaves!  Karen has a great sketch for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC145.  It has a snowflake in the image so you just know I was leaving that in - I love my snowmen and my snowflakes :)

I stamped Ski Bunny from The Cat's Pajamas in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured him with copics.

There wasn't much colouring to do but I did paper piece his scarf and pop it up for some dimension.  The paper is Saint Nick by Fancypants Design.  The dies are all from MFT: First Place Award Ribbon for the sentiment banner and Let it Snowflake for the snowflake which has a red bonbon in the middle.  I added some blue rick rack and that was it.  Oh and some sewing too - for my sister to inspect :) .  I know just the skiing couple this is going to!

Cheerio.....Leslie

Your attempts to sew are quite insightful,
The bunny's charming and delightful,
Can't wait to see my Christmas gift...
I have no doubt I'll get an eyeful.

OK....bad poetry aside, you have improved SIGNIFICANTLY. Your lines are straight, your corners crisp, and you pivot perfectly. Time for a new challenge.....sew a straight line down the middle of the rickrack. :)

Love, your favourite sister
